Case insensitive searches with Informix/PowerBuilder

Hi, I'm supporting a Powerbuilder application which, this time around, has been installed on an Informix database. We've struck problems with case sensitivity in searches. I know with other database, Progress for example, I can tell the database to ignore case when doing SELECT ... WHERE ... type stuff, so I can do case insensitive matches. Can anyone tell me is there such a feature in Informix, if so, how do I make it happen.
