If your version of FTP's PC/TCP is 2.3, this product cause trouble - I would recommend you log a support call with your local Informix people for an appropriate work around. If your version of PC/TCP is 2.2, the 'etc' files must exist in c:\\etc, this includes hosts, services, protocols. Check the install notes for the configuration of these files. If DataLink works, do you mean DL in HST or DL in Wingz or earlier - this is odd, usually once DL is working, all comms are working. Have you got a local instance loaded (SE for DOS) ? Overall, HST is usually a 'plug and play' toy, but I agree that, sometimes a PC or a netowrk configuration can make the initial setup a bore. I'm happy to foloow this up if you get a little more info. Adam > Hello NETTERS. > > Here I am again.
