Sure. Save data from the dbspace containing your chunk (dbexport,
unload, onunload). Remove all data from the dbspace. Drop it. Recreate
your dbspace using the 'right' chunks. Load the data back in.
Same principle with the Root dbspace, except you need to save all your
data, recreating the entire instance.

This scheme will not work for ANY dbspace root or otherwise. REMEMBER
that the chunk paths are saved in the reserved pages in the root dbspace.
You can fake out the root by changing the entry in the ONCONFIG file but
I'm not sure that even that is safe because the location of chunk #1, the
initial root chunk, is also on the reserved page and I think that once the
reserved pages are read from the location on the new disk, via the
ONCONFIG ROOTDBS parameter the file is reopened based on the reserved page
entry which still points to the old disk location. CERTAINLY it will not
work for any other chunk but the first rootdb chunk without rewriting the
reserved pages chunk table pages.
