alter table question
Newbie question:
Is this a normal behavior in Informix IDS 7.23?
1.- I have the table 't1':
create table t1 (col1 char(7), col2 char(10));
2.- Primary key 'col1':
alter table t1 add constraint primary key (col1);
3.- New alter table:
alter table t1 modify col1 char(7); (no changes)
- The primary key constraint is removed.
- All foreign key in dependent tables are removed.
Other RDBMS don't do that.
