hi... we're running Informix 4.10 on Unisys/Sequent/PTX systems. I'm conducting a study of how much memory each informix user requires. It's easy enough to measure the RSS (resident set size) of each process. What's not easy is, for sqlturbo in particular, how much of that size (they are observed to be anywhere from 900KB to 10MB) is 'owned' solely by that sqlturbo process and not part of the Informix page buffer (shared memory) or shared by other sqlturbo processes. Anyone have the inside on this? Thanks... Pete Gregory, World Vision U.S. Internet: pete@wvus.org UNIX System Admin. Bangpath: ames!elroy!wvus!pete (this .signature is intentionally left blank)
