Your best bet is probably to wait until you can get hold of Version 6.0
DBSCHEMA which does provide all that information. Use the option -ss
to choose server-specific information.
DBSCHEMA Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 6.00.UE1
Copyright (C) Informix Software, Inc., 1984-1994
Software Serial Number RDS#N000000
...
{ TABLE "johnl".junk row size = 20 number of columns = 1 index size = 0 }
create table "johnl".junk
(
col01 char(20)
) in dbspace2 extent size 16 next size 16 lock mode page;
To recover information about things like dbspaces in earlier versions than
6.0 requires access to undocumented (and hence unsupported) facilities.
Note that not even version 6.0 can reproduce the starting value for a
SERIAL column, simply because the information is not stored anywhere; it's
not stored in the table itself, nor in the system catalogues for the
database, nor in the SysMaster database.
