What's more there is > no mention of this manual in the list of documentation given in the > Informix Unix Products booklet and Installation Guide, Version 5.01. > Does anyone know anything about the missing manual? It exists -- I have a copy on my bookshelf behind me. It is distinct from the Informix Guide to SQL series. If you have the ISQL User Guide, then someone, somewhere, once upon a time, received the ISQL Ref Manual at the same time. You should still be able to order it. I believe there is a 4.10 ISQL Supplement, but that is a very rare object. The Informix Guide to SQL series give descriptions of the SQL language supported by the engines at the named release, and related issues. This is distinct from the ISQL manual set which describes how to use the ISQL product. The ISQL manuals date from the days when what is now in the Informix Guide to SQL was distributed in with the main manuals for each product -- the same as it was in the days before you could buy SE as a separate product.
