314 - table in use error

I found a posting related to a problem I am having. I'm running a .4gl script and doing a DROP. I receive the message 314 table in use. This table is not in use - I even brought the system up in maintenance (single user) mode to ensure this. I found a posting from Gennady (gena@oubaes.freenet.kiev.ua) with a great solution. Use SQL to run the following commands: DELETE FROM syscolumns where tabid = (select tabid from systables where tabname "mytable") DELETE FROM systables were tabname - "mytable" This would be great - except, we do not have SQL Runtime installed. I've tried to write this in an Informix .4gl script - without success. Could anyone assist me with a .4gl script or an alternate solution?
