In article <4cgsic$o98@cssun.mathcs.emory.edu>, PAKHRI@aseam.po.my says... > >I'm running my Informix applications from an emulation software and using VT100 terminal emulation. >Does anyone knows how can I configure Informix (in these case TERMCAP) so that I can use all the >function keys. Now I can only use F1-F4 only. The problem is not with TERMCAP, per se. The problem is that the VT100 keyboard only has PF1 through PF4. Unfortunately PC keyboards have more keys than this. The trick is to find out what escape sequence each F-key sends when pressed, and capture that sequence with the TERMCAP file. > > --------------- > ///I\\\\\\ Ahmad Pakhri Yahya (pakhri@aseam.po.my) > // o o \\\\ Supervisor, Admin, Root, DBA > // v \\\\ --------------------------------------- > // - \\\\ ISD, Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad > /// \\\\\\ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. > ---------------
