How is a very good question. For what its worth, you still have 2 hopes !! ( Bob and ... ) How do you envisage calling an informix stored procedure from Oracle, when it has to be called by either a trigger or explicitly from within an application ( SQL, 4GL or GUI ) that has direct access to the Informix engine ?? I guess a C program could possibly do it or a Windows app that can call stored procedures as part of its language ( VB 6 or Delphi 4, Magic ), but from what you have said, you want to call the Informix stored procedure based on what gets written to the Oracle database - I don't think it can easily be done !!
