Animating MF COBOL/ESQL UNIX w/ Informix Online

I'm trying to animate connecting to an Informix Online DB. I've called Informix Support. They say it is possible, but isn't supported. Evidently a change to the "makerun" script for "animating" will accomplish the task. But it isn't clear to me what I need to change. Figure someone out there has built the wheel. My platform is MFC v4.0 for UNIX, Sun OS Sparc 5.2, and Informix 7.2 Online. The batch connection works fine. I've tried creating the "makeanim" script w/o success. TIA if you can help.
