Anyone using MILNET/DDN? ISDN? Modems?

Is there anyone using MILNET/DDN as their connectivity solution? I have been told that MILNET is too slow & will lose packets but I have not used MILNET myself. Therefore, I would appreciate **ANY** comments and/or suggestions. Also, what about ISDN? I have been told that Informix does not "recommend" modems (and PPP) but I have users nationally and we need a connectivity solution (hopefully client/server). Thanks in advance.
