Shared Object Libraries in ESQL 7.1

Using Online Dynamic Server 7.1 and ESQL 7.1. Has anyone succesfully compiled into a shared library? If not, is there an upgrade to allow this and where might I find it. We are trying to integrate our applications into a Netscape Commerce Server using the NSAPI. We have successfully done so using Illustra, but cannot compile the Informix code into a shared library without it complaining that it is missing about 20 procedures. Thanks in advance for any input or advice.....
