Ron, The editing features of PERFORM are well documented. Look in the User Guide. When inside a field, Ctrl-a toggles between insert and overwrite modes. Ctrl-l moves the cursor to the right and Ctrl-h moves it to the left. There is also the Ctrl-p feature which will fill each field with the values of the last record entered and tab the cursor to the next field. Some of our users find the Ctrl-p to be quite handy. --- John --=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=--=-- John Baker, Directorate of Infor Mgt.
