Is this a special case "feature" whereby the top line of > spaces can be hidden? The same applies to the sides, doesn't it? This will come off as a trite reply but I'm going to risk it anyway. I said that this is the way it is, not that it was sensible or consistently applied. 4GL has several annoying gotchas like this one. Art S. Kagel
