OnLine 7.1 stuck in recovery
Posted in 1995
It would seem that the recovery process is blocked due to full logical
logs but I can't seem to back them up to either tape or /dev/null. The
"ontape -a" command starts to work then completes with "This tape
contains no log data". The process that filled the logs was accidentally
killed. The only way the affect the status of the engine is to kill the
master daemon. By the way, I'm running on SCO ODT 3.0. Is there another
way to flush the logs? I included some output.
Thanks for any hints.
