Performance & Tuning

Informix performance and tuning: slow queries, query plans, indexes, optimizer behaviour and server configuration. Threads cover reading SET EXPLAIN output, deciding when an index helps, and finding out why a query that was fast is suddenly slow.

2,458 threads, 1992–2026.
