BenchMark Toolkit

The Oninit® BenchIt is a small set of very portable programs that allow you to verify that hardware, software or tuning changes have made a positive difference. So if you just want to check a simple configuration change, or test to see if raw disk is quicker or slower in your environment, then you have a set of simple programs to help.

Oninit® RegExp Blade

The RegExp datablade as available on the IBM website can 'core' the VP under Linux. Oninit have fixed the issues and a Linux version is now available.

Utilities

These programs are all in use in production systems, although not necessarily in this version. Please download them and distribute them as required, but the header information must remain. Oninit accept no responsibility for the reliability of any program that you download from this site. We believe that they work in all versions. Dostats and myschema have become the de-facto standard tools for the running of update statistics and schema extraction respectively. Because a number of companies now depend on them in their production environment, Oninit are now able to offer formal support. Need to know more? Just contact us.
