I tried to dbexport a database but I got the following messages:
-425 - Database is currently opened by another user.
- 107 - ISAM error: record is locked.
How can I find the tabid or the table name of the locked table and the
process id that holds the lock? here I am thinking about the system
catalog, the onstat -k does not give the name of the locked table.
How can I kill the lock without shutting down informix ?
Thanks.

Mahmoud,
in the IIUG archives is a package called "who_access" whcih contains
two shell scripts: who-lock.sh and who-access.sh
You can use who-lock.sh directly to report on all locks in the system,
or specify the database in question. Note that there have been
complaints that this takes a long time to run. If so, you can look into
the code and pull out the sql to adapt it to your needs.
Note that users of Solaris have complaind that the awk script barfs.
If you a aolaris user, you may have to rip the SQL code out of the
script and use it directly.
