Re: KAIO: out of OS resources

Have Seen similar problems on NCR MP-RAS 3.00, 3.00.02, and 3.02 We have found several solutions though: If using raid, replace the disk..... or upgrade the firmware on the disks, think about the error that you are getting out of processes error number eleven, as we say in the "dirty, dirty south", that ain't right... if you truss the oninit, you would probably see a bunch of eagain errors. if this is the case look at a couple of things: a) firmware upgrade for raid, drives and such.... ( most drastic ) or b) TUNE the KERNEL, giving yourself a lot more RAID IO buffers, this helped a whole lot, because, in the case such as ours, this helped a whole lot.... Whose OS are you running???? Also, check you OS message log, it may help a whole lot....
