Another argument against the C-version (so in favour of RDS): according to 4JS website support for the C-version will drop per 1-1-2000 ! This is ofcourse 4JS C-version but keep yours eyes to the future . Sorry for this argument Henk Sanders a_blonde@mindless.com wrote: > ---- you wrote: > > From: a_blonde@mindless.com > > > > > > ---- you wrote: > > > > I'm writing documentation of the advantages of using 4GL c-compiler > > > > over RDS and need to put in as much proof as possible. Informix has no plans to drop its c-code compiler before dropping the rest of Classic 4GL, and it has no plans to drop Classic 4GL at the moment. > > This is ofcourse 4JS C-version but keep yours eyes to the future . > > Sorry for this argument > > Henk Sanders > > a_blonde@mindless.com wrote: > > > ---- you wrote: > > > From: a_blonde@mindless.com > > > > > > > > ---- you wrote: > > > > > I'm writing documentation of the advantages of using 4GL c-compiler > > > > > over RDS and need to put in as much proof as possible.
