ISAM 951 errors

I have online dynamic server 7.23 for NT running on an NT 4.0 SP5 enterprise server. Informix is included as a 'black box' inside another third-party product. My third-party vendor is not having success solving an ISAM 951 issue. About 10 days after installation and successful use, Informix suddenly issues 951 errors. These errors usually say something about not recognizing the user, including the main database user, and my vendor claims that Informix says that it is a "network problem." We have confirmed that the PDC can be pinged, long and short name. We are running sessions on the server machine for debugging, although the problem also occurs with clients. Clients use DHCP and are NT workstations. Some have local informix processes of some sort. What can I do to help debug this? Are there any non-destructive tools I can use to provide further information? The network seems just fine. John Fisher
