RE: So much hate....

We installed 10g because we need to migrate to PS Tools 8.47. At the time, we couldn't locate a certification for Informix and 8.47. For now, we'll stay with IFX9.40FC7. The last two apps we deployed here are running on MySql and SQLServer. The next major upgrade we do will be to Fusion. I hope by the time we *have* to make that move I'll be *retired* making pastries somewhere. --- "Sebastian, Norma J." <NormaJean.Sebastian@tellabs.com> wrote: > > Wait a minute Obie..... that's slap me as in "one > flew over the > cuckoo's nest" not 'debbie does dallas' ;) > > Jerry, > Why'd you end up installing Oracle 10g? > Application not available on Informix? > Corporate direction change to Oracle? > I know it can be tough to stay with Informix these > days, but if you have > to change, I'd highly recommend Sqlserver2005, not > Oracle.
