Call for Content - Informix User Conference

Topics: General Discussion
Just a quick question: Everyone should know that the Informix User Conference will be held in October in Orlando, FLA. Check out www.informix.com/iuc for details and keep checking... The IIUG is driving this conference more so than in any year past. We need to hear from you the USERS as to what you would like to see and hear. For Instance: If the tutorials were more focused and hands-on and you were able to take a Certification Test during the conference would this be a good thing? Need more ideas like this. Would also like to hear what you would like to see/hear in the main sessions? Keynote Speakers, etc? More input is better than less or NONE. Please email me at robv@iiug.org Thanks in advance. ===== Rob Vorbroker Phone: 513/583-9888 Vorbroker Consulting, Inc. Linux and UNIX variants are more then 70% servers on Internet. Microsoft ASP is on Windows, PHP is on UNIX/Linux. Resulting in about 70% of the Internet servers using PHP to access database in context of web pages creation. You want to talk about this, no matter what I or you might thing about I-reach, I-sell, etc... -- Yours, Andrej Falout, http://www.falout.com ICQ 7628616 ++64.21.607517 #----------------------------------------------------------------- globals "std_disclaimer.4gl" Ask yourself just one question: ' Qu' m's se puede hacer y aprender ? - Propellerhead ReBirth RB-338 manual
Pardon my TLA Ignorance but what is PHP? I don't work for Informix so if this is an Informix Product you blew by me... I agree that UNIX variants (including Linux) is more than 70% of the servers for Internet uses. To simplify things a little, PHP is the thing that will do to Microsoft ASP (Active Server Pages) what Linux is doing to MS Windows and Apache to MS IIS see www.php.net for more. This is a killer app by any definition.
