Yes indeed. The point I was trying to make is that, since by implication
the user must have enough disk space to take the entire unload, he might as
well use an lvm to make the unload area large enough to take it in one hit.

Please Note :
There is a 2gb file size limit on most 32 bit operating systems.
In the event of a problem will Informix support this as a method ?
