If you are using Informix SE ( not Online ) then copying the database should
be a piece of cake - with the following assumptions:-
the "testmydb" is exactly the same as "mydb"
all of the db tables are located in the database directory and NOT in
another directory ( unless, of course they are symbolically linked )
You should be able to copy the isam tables directly from the directory of
the one database to the other ( include the system catalog tables was
well ).
If your using OnLine 5, then you may need to use tbunload, dbunload or
dbexport ( I can't remember which is the better one !! )
