RE: ERROR: -25574: Network driver cannot open the network.
Posted in 2000
Juan,
I got the same problem:
When I try to access database via dbaccess it complains :
25572: Network driver cannot bind a name to the port.
Exec format error
If I try to access database from the command line:
dbaccess statistics@bigsister
then the error message looks like:
951: Incorrect password or user is not known on the database server.
Well, my username and passwords are the same as they used to be on my
previous system.
I did check my sqlhosts file and services, and onconfig.
Did you got your server working,
Appreciate, if you get a chance to correspond.
Sincerely,
Elena.
