Re: ontape -r keeps hanging in a "Fast Recovery"

Typically the fast recovery at the end of a restore is to restore logical logs
Is it asking for a logical log tape? Were logical logs backed up using
ontape as well?

Hi folks,
After an restore with 'ontape -r' Informix keeps hanging in a
"Fast Recovery (CKPT REQ)".
I have modified the number of offline recover threads in
the ONCONFIG file before trying the restore, but it does not
seem to change the situation.
onstat -p shows no activity but for usercpu and syscpu counters, which increment continously.
I let the restore run for 24 hours, and nothing else happened.
The restore is made in another machine, with exactly the
same environment : Informix Dynamic Server 7.30.FC7=20
and Digital UNIX V4.0D. The hardware environment is
exactly the same.
Has anyone an idea of what is going on ?
TIA for any help.
