Hello, I hope someone knows the answer: How do I identify record and store this identification in another record (in another table). Structure of identified record is unknown (i.e. not known a priory) but it has primary key. The value of the primary key has to be stored in another table (of arbitrary structure). And it has to be stored by stored procedure - no call to embedded sql. Rowid cannot be used. How do I store multi field primary key into one field? help me, please, thanx in advance bye erik -- /==\\ ==/ __ \\============================================================== | / O | Instead of asking him how much of your time is left | | |- |/ | |/ ask him how much of your mind.
