I'm also not sure by what you mean by virtualizing your servers. So you have X windows boxes and you want to replace them with Y linux servers such that it looks like there are X linux servers. (Lets say 10 windows boxes and replace them with 2 linux servers which will have 5 virtual servers each.) Ok... So what happens when you want to connect via TCP/IP? Does each virtual server have a seperate port for connecting front end applications? (I'm not sure that this is a viable architecture.) With respect to Linux versions, I like and have been running SuSE. I started using SuSE many versions ago since it had a better install interface that RedHat. If you're looking for a version of Linux where you can get support, SuSE's enterprise version may be the best answer. Marty Laurie ?sp? likes Ubuntu beause it has better wireless support. Timmy likes it because it has a better release mechanism. Of course I'm now a bad person because I'm not bothered by Novell's deal with the devil. ;-) -Mikey _________________________________________________________________ Play games, earn tickets, get cool prizes.
