New Database Web site: db.hotlinx.com

I have just opened a web site for database professionals called db.HOTlinx (the URL is http://db.hotlinx.com) and I would like some feedback on it. The objective of the site is to give people who work with client/server an easy way to browse products and other content on the web. We summarize over 200 products in a graphical format, and link you to the vendor's site whenever possible. There is no charge to access the site, but I do ask you to register so I can make a good case for the quality of my audience to prospective sponsors. We also offer a table of contents of the most interesting (to us) client/server news stories, articles, and columns on the web that links directly to a wide range of publications. Here's what I'd like to know: 1. Is the site something a database professional is likely to use frequently? If not, what would make it more attractive? 2. Are we covering the right news and products? Who else should we be covering (new products are being added all the time, by the way) 3. Finally, in addition to offering news, articles, and columns, I would like to also feature some conversation threads on in this news group that are of general interest, for example your discussion regarding thin clients or about MicroFocus Cobol vs. C. Do you think this is a good idea? I sincerely appreciate any feedback you are able to give me (publicly or privately) on these questions. Chris Evans President Hotlinx, LLC
