tape parameters

Im trying to change tape parameters through onmonitor -> archive ->
Tape-parameters and in the Tape Device I have /dev/rmt/0n which seems to
work (ontape works until it says it doesnt have more space). Im trying
to change the Tape size parameter to the size of the tape (12 gig), but
onmonitor gives me an error:
Error opening the tape device, Error No. = 13.
I dont know what could be wrong. ontape works, except for the tape
limit, which is what Im trying to change.
Thanks.... ;-)

Error 13 is an OS error, it means permission denied.
Personnaly I'd just go into $ONCONFIG and hack the number in
TAPESIZE xxxx
where xxxx is a number of kbytes your tape is capable of writing out.
