On-bar on HP Omni

Does anyone have any exprience in performing On-Bar restore with using HP Omni Back? I have a difficulity to make this work. Alfred Ps. We have IDS 7.30 UC6 on HPUX 10.20.

We have had problems but not with 7.30 ( I would have thought the problems that we have encountered would have been sorted ion 7.3, oh well, there you go ! ). We use 7.24.UC5 on HP-UX 11 and have had problems with OnBar but have had work-arounds in place for some time. Parallel archiving can cause problems with locking the instance:- CKPT BLOCKED: ARCHIVE ( the reason is too long winded... ). It was sorted by doing a serial archive ( onbar -b -w ). Also, point in time recovery didn't appear to work very well - we still have yet to get it working properly. We have to use point-in-log recovery instead. Other than that, its working and we use it to do data and logs ! I setup Onbar to work with Omniback before Xmas and I have been doing backup and recovery testing over the last 2 weeks. After some teething troubles due to incorrect configuration I have not had any problems doing backups or recoveries.
