Err -25571 to connect server

Hello guys, I have the following scenario: Recently i installed the new IDS 11.70 FC1 on RedHat EL 5.5 (server A) without problem until this time, but today i tried to connect to this server from clientsdk 3.50 TC1 on windows (client) and i get the following error to apply and test connection : Cannot create a user thread: online.log : listener-thread: err = -25571: oserr = 0: errstr = informix: Cannot create a user thread I can connect from the same client to other server (server B) which it has installed IDS 11.10 UC1 on Red hat linux too. this work it fine Also i can connect server B as client of server A Both server A and B are configure in similar way and belong to the same net. /var/log/messages doesn't have any info about this case Could be a bug of IDS 11.70 or clientsdk 3.50? I cannot think of any reason why it should make a difference, but have you tried installing the 3.70 release of the CSDK for Windows? Art Art S. I also recomend you to 1) remove the old client 3.50 2) install clientsdk 3.70 (ready for informix 11.70). See if it works, if you have another issue, just tell us ok? Best regards! The file $INFORMIXDIR/dbssodir/seccfg it had IXUSERS=informix in IDS 11.70. I made the change to IXUSERS=*, same as it is in IDS 11.10 and the problem was solved. I never had touched this file. That file specifies the group of users who can connect to the instance. Having "informix" in there restricts the ability to connect to users belonging to the group informix. Did you change it manually? The default is "*"... Maybe the installation allows it to be specified... not sure, but I believe it will change it if you ask for role separation... Glad to help.
