Hello all,
I'm trying to set ER between 2 servers on different geographic sites, but both
running IDS 11.5 xC3.
So here is the sqlhost content on the root server :
group1 group - - i=2000
instance1 onsoctcp LAN_IP 9088 g=group1
group2 group - - i=2001
instance2 onsoctcp WAN_IP 9088 g=group2
And here the sqlhost content on the leaf server
group1 group - - i=2000
instance1 onsoctcp WAN_IP 9088 g=group1
group2 group - - i=2001
instance2 onsoctcp LAN_IP 9088 g=group2
I've checked I was abble to connect on each instance from the other server by
using dbaccess.
I've set everything needed for cdr spaces in the onconfig and restart my
instance.
Then on the root server I have no problem when I do :
cdr define server -I group1
But when I :
cdr define server -L -S group1 -I group2
I get the following error :
command failed -- remote/cyclic synchronization not allowed (64)
So how can I solve this?
Thank you for your help
Try
cdr define server -c group2 -L -S group1 -I group2
You must be connected to the server that you are defining when issueing=
"cdr define server"
