Has anybody had problems running IDS-PE on an NT4 Workstation using Service Pack 5 ????? It works fine under SP3, but as soon as SP5 is installed it hange when you try to bring the engine up. I think the problem is related to the default shared memory address. Can anybody tell me how to change this address, and if so, what it should be changed to?

No, problem is related to MS changin security methind for writing in system log. Not can do. IDS-PE is dead, like so many other Informix product invented to be left to die soon after birth, thanks to good strategy and clear leadership. There will be no >SP3 support for PE, end there will be no PE updates. I think Workgroup IDS is also dead, but I think there is also something like 'developers edition'.
