Re: CLI with WIN95 and Online 5.X

The problem was that CLI 2.5 requires for the server running Online 5.x and I-Star to have the client's PC IP and Host name in it's /etc/hosts file. Glad it is no longer needed for Informix 7.x Instances. I have submitted this as an case with Informix and my finding thus far is that a PATCH version of CLI (which is 2.5.TD2 ) was shipped to us for NT (NT and WIN95 use the same software for CLI). I tested this version on the NT and it is working! So I plan to install it on my WIN95 PC.
