Greetings From San Francisco!

Greetings to all from San Francisco! The IWU Conference is proceeding great! Monday was an unexpected treat for me to be able to participate in the IUG Leadership Council proceedings, and actually get to meet FINALLY :-) with the folks I've known only through c.d.i. over the years. Yes, pictures are coming, probably through the 72 hours site, and I'll have more at my site after it's over. Nils is a trip! :-) The conference is indeed a great moment for all c.d.i. posters and participants. Even if you are not here, you are indeed a BIG part of what's going on. I think it's safe to say your voices are being heard. I've been sworn to secrecy--serious!--on a few of the things we talked about with Informix, but the wish list was a big success for us in the end-user community, and I believe for Informix as well. I can't thank all of you enough for participating. There really is nothing like being in person, and talking. We've had lots of beer, and more to come. And more people to meet. Well, off to more of the world of Informix... more to talk about tomorrow...
