I didn't understand well, but could you try to configure the disablebind=1 and
set dbtrace with ON at its profile database connection, that's way, powerbuilder
will write down the pbtrace.log in %SystemRoot% directory and you can open and
come over it what statements, powerbuilder, sent to informix database server.
I'd like to do one question. Why do you use no datawindow to uptade the table?
And second, when you used dw_1.retrieve(50), powerbuilder sends the 50 as the
first argument of dw_1 and returns a long with value of the count rows retrieved
or > 0 when there is a error. You could use the sqlsyntax event in dw_1 to
inspect what powerbuilder sents to databases
