tempspace

I have 3 tempspace dbspaces. They are each 2 Gig. We are running IDS 7.3 on a Sun E10K with 18 Gig disks - & using raw disk space. We have some very large tables that "see action" continuously. 1. Is it "smart" to use 1 disk for all 3 tempspaces? 2. Or should the tempspace be sharing disk space with other tables? 3. Or should each tempspace have it's own disk? (In this scenario, it would be a waste to use the 18G - so we would probably opt for smaller ones-which is an option) Also, another question about tempspace.... 4. Is there any advantage to creating the tempspaces as dbspaces rather than as chunks? Thanks again for all your help. Robin
