At first, try to disable ALL indexes and constraints, associated with that table. Use "SET INDEXES,CONSTRAINTS FOR tab_name DISABLED". If this wouldn't help - try to use HPL - this would be MUCH faster, then LOAD or DBEXPORT. By the way, what is duration of your checkpoints during this load process ?
