Informix SE 7.2 and PHP3/ODBC

i have a very slow internet connection hence excuse me if i ask a commonly known question. i want to acces my informix se database using ODBC within PHP scripts on a) win nt/iis b) linux/apache environment. i'm using following informix products: INFORMIX-SE 7.24.UC5 for Linux informix 4gl 7.20 ud7 for Linux with following sqlhosts setup: gambit_se seipcpip gambit.cui.edu.co sqlexec (tried also sesoctcp) i tried to install various odbc drivers on both linux and windows environment however without any success. e.g. accessin the db using OpenLink Lite for Informix 7, release 3.20 (win nt) i get the following error message: SQL State: 08004 Native: 0 Message: [OpenLink][ODBC][Driver]Connection rejected by data source i get similar results with iODBC or OpenLink ODBC on Linux. please give me a hint how to set up the connection and which products are neccessary. thanks! oliver <ofodor@nevado.cui.edu.co>
