JDBC and Informix SE 7.14

Hi, Does anyone know if JDBC works against a Informix SE 7.14 database. We both have Informix DS 7.31 and Informix SE 7.14 databases and need to access both types of databases with Java. Thanks in advance Bjarne Alm. Brand Denmark

Hi Bjarne, According to the JDBC Programmers Guide for version 2.1x of the driver (I haven't actually used JDBC + SE myself) you require INFORMIX-SE, Versions 5.x or 7.2x so I don't think SE 7.1x will work for you (or if it works there may be subtle problems).
