This is how my harddisk is set up: > That would be great, except that HP/UX 8.02 won't allow any dinking with the disk partition table (I'm told that you can customise disk partitions under HP/UX 9.0, which is about a year away at the rate my company approves OS upgrades) A small disk, say 670Mb, has a section 5 of about 300 Mb but a 1.3 Gb disk has a section 5 of 900Mb. The sections on the "start" of the disk aren't scaled as disk size increase, but section 5 (at the "end") just seems to get bigger! The disk sectioning that comes defined in /etc/disktab is all you get (at least according to everyone I've spoken to, including the SysAdmin Course Teacher.) This is REAL frustrating. I'd like to solve this soon, as I'm leaving this job and am trying to tie up loose ends.
