VB4 connectivity to Informix Online 5.03

We are currently attempting to find the best method of accessing and manipulating data between Visual Basic vers 4 and Informix Online 5.03 database. We are using TUN SQL as our ODBC driver. Our questions are as follows: What is the best way of executing data manipulation statements, add, update, delete? How does one call stored procedures to do this, and what level of status information is available to us subsequent to the action, is there anyway of interrogating the sqlca record? We would like to access large sets of data which the user can browse up and down. Obviously we do not wish to bring all the data back to VB, so therefore would like to be able to declare scroll cursors from VB4. Is this possible, how do we do this? Is it possible to do this using stored procedures? Do we have to use ESQl/C in order to be able to do this? If anyone has any ideas or examples these would be greatly appreciated.
