Re: JDBC debug driver
Posted in 2006
Here is a list of changes (as compared to pre-3.00.JC1 drivers. ) that have been done to tracing mechanism in informix JDBC driver * Debug (-g versions of jars) not included in the released product *Not possible to obtain Old plain text SQLI trace and function traces any more . *A new binary SQLI trace feature has been included in the optimized distribution of the JDBC driver jar. * Set connection property SQLIDEBUG pointing to a file As mentioned in this thread , SQLIDEBUG=C:\\\\infx\\\\java\\\\trace * If you using IfxDataSource , use IfxDataSource.setIfxSQLIDEBUG (String fname) method to set same. * A new trace file is generated for every connection. Provided file name is suffixed with timestamp. * The SQLI trace file is compatible with the ESQL/C SQLI trace format * The trace file can be printed with the CSDK sqliprint utility . (Available with IBM tech support) *The JAVA version of the sqliprint utility is not included --- Lukas Barton <lukas@cnawr.cz> wrote: > Jean Georges Perrin wrote: > > Debug versions are not included anymore...
