Switch RSS secondary back to Primary

The switch back to re-establish the Primary-Secondary HDR pair after a failover is documented and the scripts to do this are in $INFORMIXDIR/bin (hdrmkpri.sh* hdrmksec.sh*). Are there similar scripts available to re-establish a Primary-RSS secondary server after a failover to the secondary? If not, I would appreciate just the steps to do this that I can script. I understand that an RSS secondary cannot be promoted to a Primary directly. ( IDS 11.50.FC5 on HP-UX 11.23 Ia).
Once RSS is promoted to a primary, you could take these steps ...
on old primary run :
hdrmksec.sh <current-primary-name>
This would setup a HDR secondary for you, then convert that HDR Secondary
to RSS using 'onmode -d RSS <current-primary-name>'.
Hope this helps.

I did what Nilesh adviced on and here's what happenned:
OAT (2.27) shows that the servers (Prim-RSS sec (updatable)) are connected.
However, nothing is getting written to the RSS.online log.
On RSS I see the following written to the online log when I bring up dbaccess:
14:29:31 Encountered problem processing update on secondary : Cannot create
new proxy session
I went to delete rows from a table and got this
240: Could not delete a row.Connection between secondary and primary has been lost
I stopped-restarted the RSS server, it reconnected to the Primary and the
delete statement worked.
Question: Once an HDR Secondary is demoted to RSS is it necessary to restart
the RSS secondary? It appears so, at least.

No - you should be able to use RSS without the need to restart.
What you noticed was a defect which got fixed in later release.
