We are running Informix 11.50.FC3 on AIX 5.3. Has anyone upgraded AIX 5.3 to 6.1 without upgrading Informix? Are there any AIX patch levels needed or anything?

You should check the Informix release notes. And you should test it in another environment... I upgraded a customer a few months ago to AIX 6.1 and IDS 11.50.FC5. I recall we had some requirements for AIX 6.1 (TLx). Regards.
