I am new to Informix, any help would be appreciated ! I have recently drop 3 logical logs as there were in the rootdbs. Then I added 3 logical logs in a different dbspace. I checked the logical log status and found it to have a 'A' flag. It seems that I have to archive it or it would not use. How to archive it ? For the physical log, I have created another dbspace so that I can move it from the rootdbs. Below it the file size : 600000 -rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 614400000 Aug 20 18:06 plogdbs I then went to the physical log in the parameters and select modify log : Physical log size [ 600000] kbytes Dbspace name [plogdbs ] A message : "Physical log size specified is too large". Did I get my calculations wrong ? Thanks in advance for any help !
