There is bug in Informix when kaio thread is running on the aio vp. I don't
remember number and workaround, contact your Tech Support. You can check
with 'onstat -g ath' - you are running in this bug :

Also check, if KAIO is really used. I mean permissions, char-oriented files
and raw/cooked files.
